For all the recent success Missouri State men's soccer has had, the one thing it couldn't call itself was a "Missouri Valley Conference Tournament champion."
In fact, no MSU team since 1999 could do that.
But the Bears (11-1-0) beat Loyola-Chicago (7-4-2) 1-0 on Saturday afternoon to claim that title on a goal by Adrian Barosen in the 75th minute.
“This is huge for the program and the seniors that have been here,” forward Josh Dolling said. “This is my third final and first win.
