MSU standout Alize Johnson receives NBA Draft Combine invite

Alize Johnson's journey to becoming the first Missouri State basketball player drafted since Winston Garland in 1987 will now include a stop at the NBA Draft Combine.

Bryan Kalbrosky, the editor of USA Today's NBA Wire, reports the former Missouri State star will participate in May's NBA Draft Combine.

The event begins May 16 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Johnson is coming off a season that earned him All-Missouri Valley Conference first-team honors after averaging 15 points and 11.
