The Lady Bears threatened during the first half but the No. 7 team in the country stepped it up in the second to come away with the Preseason WNIT title.
Missouri State (3-1) suffered its first setback of the season in an 80-69 loss to No. 7 Oregon State in the Preseason WNIT championship game.
A win would have been MSU's first over a Top 10 opponent since the 2001 NCAA Tournament when the Lady Bears beat No. 5 Duke in the Sweet 16 behind Jackie Stiles' 41 points.
The loss is the first of new Missouri State head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton's career.
