Amaka Agugua-Hamilton knew there was going to be a lot of pressure on her when she was hired at Missouri State almost a year ago.
She was taking over a team that just went to the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 and was replacing a coach who left for one of the more decorated programs in the country.
The team she was taking over only lost one player from the special run and a portion of the Lady Bears' passionate fanbase wanted the university to hire the program's legendary player-turned-assistant-coach instead.
