In its non-conference finale, Missouri State started out slow but came away with a 55-48 win over Little Rock to give the Lady Bears more momentum heading into their Missouri Valley Conference schedule.
Throughout the first nine games of the Beth Cunningham era, the Lady Bears have seen their ups and downs. They've had close losses and have struggled in others. But as the Lady Bears head into conference play on a three-game winning streak, the new head coach is seeing something in her group that wasn't there when the season first tipped off.
"It's night and day," Cunningham said.
