Missouri State went into the locker room at halftime looking much like the team it had been during most of non-conference play.
The Bears had 10 turnovers and were allowing too many second-chance points. They were down nine points in the Missouri Valley Conference opener.
The locker room was intense — according to freshman Isiaih Mosley. Everyone was quiet until the team huddled up and talked about what they needed to do.
"I think we came together as a team," Mosley said. "We needed to play with more energy and I think our coaches got on to us and told us that this wasn't the way we were going to start our season.
