Dave Steckel was a little giddy when asked about his quarterback's performance after a team scrimmage on Saturday morning.
There was one play in particular that stuck out to the Bears' head coach.
On a designed rollout to the right, Peyton Huslig was being chased when there didn't appear to be anyone open downfield. Before he got to the sideline, he threw the ball out of bounds.
"I told him that was his best play all day," Steckel said. "That's not a joke."
