More than 3,000 students compete at state archery tournament

Following a weekend of archery, more than 3,000 students competed in the 2021 Missouri National Archery in Schools Program's state tournament.

The competition was this past weekend at Branson Convention Center in Branson with Missouri Department of Conservation and Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation hosting the event.

“We congratulate all the student archers who competed and are especially excited for those individuals and teams that placed top scores,” said Eric Edwards, MDC Education Outreach Coordinator, via news release.

More than 85,000 Missouri students grades 4-12 participate in the program, MDC said. Learn more at nasptournaments.
