Thousands of student archers once again visited Branson to test their bow skills of the 2022 Missouri National Archery in the Schools Program.
The program, called MoNASP, was hosted at the Branson Convention Center this past weekend for more than 4,300 students in grades 4-12 spanning from 218 schools across the state, according to the Missouri Department of Conservation.
MDC, along with Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation, were sponsors of the tournament, which offered a bullseye competition for 3,071 archers along with a 3D tournament for 1,271 archers and some students participated in both.
Archers who ranked in the top 10 of their division may be able to move on to the National Archery in the Schools tournament slated for May in Louisville, Kentucky.
