It's safe to say this wasn't the outcome Missouri football fans were hoping for.
On Saturday, the Mizzou defense came under fire after allowing 28 first-quarter points. That same defense then gave up 17 in the second quarter and 10 more in the third. When it was all said and done, Tennessee toppled Missouri 62-24.
Early in the game, Missouri kicked a 43-yard field goal to cut Tennessee's lead to just four points midway through the first quarter. But within the quarter's final six minutes, Volunteer running back Tiyon Evans exploded for three touchdowns, including a 92-yard sprint.
