The mass exodus from Missouri men's basketball took another turn Wednesday.
Drew Buggs is entering the transfer portal to explore his extra season of NCAA eligibility, the program confirmed.
Buggs came to Missouri from Hawaii as a graduate transfer last April and averaged 13.7 minutes and 1.8 points per game this past season. The Long Beach, California, native played in all 26 games for the Tigers but never started.
Missouri still has two open scholarship spots on its 2021-22 roster.
It was long thought that none of the five Tiger seniors gaining an extra year of eligibility because of the coronavirus pandemic would exercise it.
