But without standout Hayley Frank, who didn't make the trip to Fort Worth, Texas, because of COVID-19 concerns, the Tigers saw Fresno State make a run to not only get back within striking distance, but take the lead on a 3-pointer from Yanina Todorova.
Missouri had the chance at a game-winning shot, but a 3-point attempt from Lauren Hansen hit the front of the rim and a rebound fell into the hands of a Bulldogs player.
Missouri fell to Fresno State 78-75 at the Wilkerson-Greines Activities Center after leading for 92% of the game.
