Drew Millas was one of the top players on two of the best Missouri State baseball teams in program history and now it appears he's headed to the Oakland Athletics organization.
Millas was drafted in the seventh round with the No. 224 overall pick during the second day of the 2019 MLB Draft.
Missouri State's star catcher becomes the latest high draft pick to come out of the school. Just a year ago, Jeremy Eierman was drafted with the 70th overall pick — who was also drafted by the Athletics — and Dylan Coleman selected in the fourth round.
