Missouri State women’s soccer picked up a win Thursday night against Oral Roberts 2-1, improving their overall record to 2-2-1.
The Bears were aggressive from start to finish, attempting seven shots in total.
Though both teams were held scoreless in the first half, the Bears came with even more aggression in the second half, scoring two goals. The game-winning shot came from junior midfielder Maddie Augustine on an assist from senior forward Sierra Fury.
The first goal of the night came from senior forward/midfielder Kennady Orlick in the 48th minute, with an assist from senior forward/midfielder Anna Durnin.
