Missouri State football's game against Oklahoma is still on and now it has a new date.
Missouri State and Oklahoma will now play on Sept. 12 in Norman, Oklahoma. The game was first scheduled to be played Sept. 5 before moving to Aug. 29.
The Bears and Sooners are allowed to play after the Missouri Valley Football Conference ruled that its league members can play games during the fall at the institution's discretion.
Oklahoma is the only game Missouri State has currently on its schedule for the fall. MSU Athletics Director Kyle Moats previously said he hoped the Bears would be able to play as many as three non-conference games this fall.
