CEDARCREEK — Nestled in the hills of eastern Taney County, students are learning in a saturated way, thanks to a new field station.
Missouri State University dedicated the Bull Shoals Field Station June 25 in Cedarcreek, less than an hour’s drive from Branson.
“You can learn all the facts, and you can read books, and we can even watch videos, but there is nothing like a walk in the woods,” said Tamera Jahnke, MSU dean of natural and applied sciences, during Friday’s dedication. “There is nothing like being inquisitive, asking questions about what you see or hear or what you feel or even what you don’t see.
