Days after Missouri State turned in one of its worst offensive performances over the last seven decades, the Bears had to travel to the west coast to play against one of the best defenses in the country.
It didn't work out well for the Bears.
A 66-46 loss to Saint Mary's dropped the Bears to 4-5 this season and on a two-game losing streak in which their offense has struggled. They will look to bounce back on Saturday at 7 p.m. when they host Purdue Fort Wayne.
It was more of the same for the Bears' offense which didn't move the ball well while giving up too many easy looks inside the paint.
