A Missouri State starting guard has entered the transfer portal and became the second player from the Bears' backcourt to enter the portal on Tuesday — in a sign of maybe more to come.
Ja'Monta Black, who started every game but one for the Bears this past season, is in the transfer portal after a three-year stint in maroon and white.
In 90 games over the last three years, Black averaged seven points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists. He was a 40.3 percent shooter from the field and 37.7 percent shooter from the outside.
He joins point guard Demarcus Sharp in the transfer portal after he entered the portal earlier in the day.
