Missouri State will have one of its best players for an extra season.
Senior center Gaige Prim said Monday night that he will return to Missouri State for another season, he told Art Hains on his weekly radio show with MSU head coach Dana Ford.
Prim is taking advantage of an NCAA ruling that will allow winter-sport athletes to receive an extra season of eligibility — a ruling brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. He will not count against Missouri State's scholarship allotment for 2021-22.
The senior star has been one of the top players in the Missouri Valley Conference the last two seasons.
