Missouri State signee Trey Riley was drafted in the fifth round by the Atlanta Braves.
Riley — who signed to play for the Bears during November's early signing period — was drafted with the No. 142 overall pick.
The John A. Logan College product was set to transfer to Missouri State as a junior.
He began his collegiate career at Oklahoma State and was 2-3 with a 3.59 ERA in 28 innings pitched.
Riley was the No. 5 right-handed pitcher in Illinois coming out of high school in 2016, according to Perfect Game.
