Missouri State's season that started out hopeful has come to its disappointing end.
Northern Iowa blew out the Bears 37-0 to hand Missouri State (4-7) its fifth-straight loss after the team started the season 4-2.
With the loss, Bears head coach Dave Steckel ends his fourth season at Missouri State with a 12-32 record — with three of the wins coming against non-Division I programs.
