If Missouri State has it its way, Amaka Agugua-Hamilton will be the head coach of the Lady Bears for quite some time.
The university's latest investment into the women's basketball program and "Coach Mox" makes that quite evident.
MSU announced on June 18, as a part of numerous coaching announcements, that Agugua-Hamilton received a two-year extension through the 2025-26 season that includes a salary increase.
Her initial five-year deal that was announced in April 2019 included a base salary of $240,000. According to Agugua-Hamilton's new contract, she will receive $300,000 for the 2021-22 season.
Her current five-year deal with bring her average salary per season to $328,000.
