Missouri State defeated Oral Roberts 85-66 Wednesday night in front of a crowd of 4,079 after falling to the Golden Eagles (8-4) 80-65 in Tulsa in the regular season opener.
The Bears (4-6) have now won three of their last four with their one loss coming by just one point. Over that span, senior forward Camyn Boone has scored a career-high twice, going from 21 points to 24 and then to 27 in the latest game against ORU.
Things started out differently in a number of ways. 15 minutes prior to tip-off, an official tossed a fan from the game who had greeted him less than cordially.
