Missouri State men's basketball announced Saturday afternoon that it has added a game and it will now, finally, open its season on Wednesday.
Bears head coach Dana Ford announced the Bears will play against William Jewell on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The game will be the team's season opener after a delay due to COVID-19 cases within the Bears' program.
“It’s been a long couple of weeks to get everyone out of quarantine and through all the safety checks,” Ford said in a release. “But we are really excited that William Jewell has agreed to come down and play us for our opener.
