Missouri State senior center Jasmine Franklin has torn her ACL, Lady Bears head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton announced on Twitter on Sunday.
Franklin exited the Lady Bears' Dec. 21 win over Toledo with the knee injury. She was seen on the sideline with her knee wrapped when she entered the game as the second-leading rebounder in the country.
"I'm heartbroken for you... especially because this year it clicked in so many ways," Agugua-Hamilton wrote on Twitter. "You were on your way to being an All-American! I'm so proud of your growth (on and off the court) and just want you to know that I/we will be with you every step of the way!
