Missouri State (2-2) didn't trail for a second as it went wire-to-wire in a 74-51 win over UTSA in its first game at the Las Vegas Invitational in Nevada.
Great defensive play led the way for the Lady Bears on Friday as they held UTSA to 36.7% from the field while forcing it into 21 turnovers.
Isabelle Delarue made a 3-pointer just 15 seconds into the game and the Lady Bears took care of business from there. The Lady Bears led by as many as 11 in the first quarter and its largest lead extended to 27 thanks to a 20-2 start to the fourth quarter.
