CHICAGO — Missouri State moved into a three-way tie for first place atop the Missouri Valley Conference with a 65-61 victory over Loyola (Chicago)
The win solidifies MSU as a contender for a regular-season title the remainder of the season. The Bears are tied with both Loyola and Drake with four games to go.
A season sweep gives MSU a tiebreaker over the Ramblers but the Bears lost to Drake earlier in the season. MSU concludes its season against Drake on March 2.
