The Missouri State Bears marched their way through the middle of campus and a mob of students getting to their 11 a.m. class. Meanwhile the football team was on its way to an 11 a.m. football game.
The Missouri State vs. Lincoln University home opener at Plaster Stadium opened as weird as it sounds.
Bearfest Village tents were put up along campus’ foyer north of Plaster Stadium early this week, but taken down yesterday. The once 6 p.m. start time was rescheduled to 11 a.m. due to looming weather concerns.
Lincoln pooched the opening kickoff near the Missouri State 25-yard line before the ball bounced off multiple Bears and the Blue Tigers recovered.
