Missouri State sophomore guard Skylar Wicks became the fourth men's basketball player to enter the transfer portal this offseason, according to a report by Verbal Commits.
Wicks joins other potential outgoing players including Demarcus Sharp, Ja'Monta Black and Melvyn Ebonkoli.
Wicks was a redshirt player this past season after appearing in just six games during his true freshman season in 2020-21. He played 29 minutes in his entire Missouri State career.
The decision to redshirt Wicks was made during the early weeks of the 2021-22 season. The Bears' guard depth, at the time, made it look as if he would have difficulty fighting for minutes.
