GRAND FORKS, ND — One of the great Missouri State football seasons will continue Saturday afternoon when the Bears take the field in their first FCS Playoff appearance since 1990.
Missouri State (5-4, 5-1) will face North Dakota (4-1, 4-1) in the first round of the FCS Playoffs at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota, at 3 p.m. The game will stream live on ESPN3.
A history-making Bears team hopes to continue to make more as it goes for its second postseason win in school history. Its first came in 1989 when the Bears beat Maine 38-35 on a field goal with eight seconds left after star quarterback DeAndre Smith left with a knee injury and was replaced by Paul Carney.
