Bobby Petrino has his first win as the head coach at Missouri State.
Missouri State (1-3, 1-0) began its spring season with a 30-24 win over Western Illinois (0-1, 0-1) on Saturday afternoon in Macomb, Illinois.
The Bears will return home to play North Dakota State on Saturday at Plaster Stadium at 2 p.m. The No. 1 team in the country was defeated by Southern Illinois 38-14 on Saturday.
