On Friday, Feb. 14, Missouri State announced it will commence its 2026 football campaign against the Texas A&M University Aggies at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas. The contest will be the first ever between the two teams, and will take place on Sept. 5, 2026.
The football, stages, money, structures and atmosphere are all bigger in Texas, which is well-known for escalating everything to another level. Missouri State Athletics is trying to do the same thing.
Texas A&M features one of the most storied football programs in the country. Touting a tradition of over 130 years, the Aggies have won three national championships in its program’s history, with its last title coming in 1939.
