Missouri State football adds juco QB Jordan Pachot, who was nation's 12th best passer in high school

Jordan Pachot, a 6-foot-3 quarterback transfer from Ventura College in California, announced his commitment to Missouri State football.

Pachot threw for 2,217 yards and 18 touchdowns in 10 games a season ago. He was named the Northern Conference of Southern California Football Association's Offensive Player of the Year. He completed 67.9 percent of his passes and averaged 8.1 yards per attempt.

Pachot broke out during his senior year of high school at San Bernardino High in California. He was the nation's 12th leading passer while throwing for 4,424 yards and 41 touchdowns over 16 games.

Pachot noted in his announcement that he anticipates having 3-4 years of eligibility.
