Missouri State announced it has given legendary head baseball coach Keith Guttin a three-year contract extension amongst a number of moves that should set up the future of the program.
Guttin, who just led the Bears to the NCAA Tournament, just completed his 40th year as head coach. He was entering the final year of his contract and is now signed through the 2025 season.
The announcement also comes with longtime pitching coach Paul Evans stepping into more of an administrative role with the title of "special assistant to the head coach" after 34 seasons as the Bears' pitching coach.
