KANSAS CITY — Missouri State went into its toughest two-game stretch of the season and came away empty.
The Bears (3-2) lost to Southern California 99-80 in the third-place game of the Hall of Fame Classic Tuesday at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.
MSU appeared to be fatigued as the Bears failed to keep up with a talented Trojans lineup.
The Bears lost Monday night 85-62 to No. 24 Nebraska. The two losses are the first under new head coach Dana Ford.
