ST. LOUIS — For the second year in a row, Missouri State's season will end a game short of the Arch Madness championship game.

Missouri State (17-7, 12-6) saw its season come to an end in a 71-69 loss to Drake (25-4, 15-3) in the Missouri Vallely Conference Tournament semifinals Saturday afternoon at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.

Drake will play No. 20 Loyola-Chicago (23-4, 13-2) Sunday at 1 p.m. for a shot at the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Both teams are currently expected to qualify for the tournament, at least, with an at-large bid.
