Missouri State men's basketball is set to host a historic game at JQH Arena when the 12th-ranked team in the country visits Springfield.
BYU will be the highest-ranked non-league team to visit Missouri State. It's the highest-ranked team to visit JQH Arena since No. 6 Wichita State visited the Bears in Jan. 2014, when the Shockers were still a member of the Missouri Valley Conference.
The game will be played at 3 p.m. on Saturday. It will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
"Obviously, they're good," Bears head coach Dana Ford said. "It's a veteran team that's really good, physical and it's a great opportunity for our guys, but they're one of the top 10 teams in the country.
