Missouri State rallied from down 14 to force overtime and complete the series sweep over the Missouri Valley Conference favorites.
The Bears (10-9, 6-3) came back to win 65-62 in overtime at Drake (14-6, 5-4) on Wednesday night in Des Moines. The Bulldogs were on a 12-game winning streak at home which dated back to last season when the Bears defeated them 66-62.
The Bears remain one of six teams that are at the top or within one game of the conference lead. They will host first-place Southern Illinois (15-5, 7-2) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Drake held a 14-point lead with 1:55 left in the first half and took a 13-point lead into the break.
