ST. LOUIS — The momentum Missouri State had built over the previous three games finally ran out and the Bears' season has come to an end.
Missouri State fell in the Arch Madness quarterfinals in a 54-51 defeat to Southern Illinois on Friday night at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis. The Salukis beat the Bears in all three of their matchups this season.
Dana Ford's fifth season as head coach ended with a 17-15 record with a sixth-place finish in the Missouri Valley Conference. He is now 89-66 as the Bears' coach.
