The Missouri State basketball season started with a lot of hype but the disappointing regular season led to one of the worst attended seasons in the program's history.
The university reported an average of 3,943 fans entered through JQH Arena's doors during the 15 home games throughout the regular season. That's the worst average since the 1979-80 season when an average of 3,544 fans saw the Bears play their fourth season at Hammons Student Center.
Missouri State's biggest crowd of the season came on opening night when 5,002 fans saw the Bears lose on a game-winning shot to Little Rock.
