Missouri State is playing its best basketball of the season at the right time.
The Bears (14-15, 8-8) continued their late-season resurgence with a 74-62 victory over Loyola (19-10, 11-5) on Saturday afternoon at JQH Arena.
Loyola entered Saturday's game needing three wins to clinch a share of the Missouri Valley Conference title. Instead, the Ramblers are going to need some help to climb back into contention with Northern Iowa.
Missouri State is still in a fight to avoid a play-in game at the MVC Tournament.
