After perhaps the most uninspiring half of basketball under head coach Dana Ford, the Bears were able to come out much better in the second half to come away with their second straight win.
Missouri State (5-5) came away with an 86-62 win over Mississippi Valley State on Friday night at JQH Arena.
Mississippi Valley State entered the night 0-7 while allowing a Division I-worst 101.6 points per game. On the offensive end, they were scoring just 61.3 points per game to rank it 329th out of 350.
