Missouri State basketball makes NIT for first time since 2011, to play at Oklahoma

Missouri State men's basketball has qualified for the National Invitation Tournament and will play on into March for the first time since 2011.

Dana Ford's Bears will play at No. 1 seed Oklahoma in the first round. A date and time has yet to be announced.

The 23-10 Bears last played on March 5 in a 79-78 overtime loss to Drake in the semifinal round of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in St. Louis.

The Bears qualified as an at-large after finishing tied for second in the MVC during the regular season.
