Missouri State had a chance at knocking down one of the hottest teams in the Missouri Valley Conference but it came up short in overtime.
The Bears (13-15, 7-8) fell to Bradley (19-9, 10-5) in an 83-79 loss on Wednesday night in Peoria, Illinois.
Even with the loss, MSU continues to play its best basketball with just three games remaining in the regular season. The Bears are currently fighting to avoid a play-in game at the MVC Tournament and will host championship-contender Loyola on Saturday afternoon.
