Missouri State basketball collapses in second half in loss at Saint Mary's

Throughout the first half, Missouri State looked like it was close to taking the next step while beating one of the better teams on its schedule.

But then the Bears played a second half and everything fell apart.

Missouri State (8-5, 0-1) fell 75-58 to Saint Mary's (11-3) on Wednesday night in Moraga, California. The loss snaps a four-game winning streak.

Saint Mary's entered the game as the No. 53 team in the latest NET rankings and 42nd by KenPom. The Bears had a big opportunity but couldn't capitalize.
