DES MOINES, Iowa — Missouri State won its first game at Drake since 2017 in a 66-62 victory at the Knapp Center on Wednesday night.
With the win, the Bears (18-8, 9-4) move into third place in the Missouri Valley Conference. Depending on results from later Wednesday, the Bears could be a half-game out of first place by the night's end.
The win is Dana Ford's first in Des Moines as the team hadn't won a game at the Knapp Center since Paul Lusk's second-to-last season as head coach.
