After a disappointing loss in the season opener, the Bears were much better their second time around.
Missouri State (1-1) won its first game of the season with a 6-2 victory over Utah on Saturday afternoon in San Marcos, Texas.
The Bears jumped out to an early lead and were able to hang on afterward.
