Missouri State completed its improbable run through the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament and is headed back to the NCAA Tournament.
The Bears are the champions of the Valley after defeating Southern Illinois in a 13-3 winner-take-all matchup at Hammons Field on Sunday evening.
With the win, the Bears claimed the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament — the program's first since 2018 when it was led by the likes of Jeremy Eierman, Dylan Coleman and Drew Millas.
