Missouri State Athletics Director Kyle Moats told reporters Friday afternoon that the Bears could still play Oklahoma in the fall even if the Missouri Valley Football Conference is moved to the spring.
Reports said Friday that the MVFC is likely to move to a spring football season. Neither Moats nor the league made an announcement by the time of publication.
If the Bears were to play Oklahoma, MSU would receive a critical $600,000 guarantee payment for its athletics budget.
Missouri State and Oklahoma are scheduled to play on Aug.
