Missouri 4-H shooting sports teams took high honors at the latest championships in Nebraska.
The 2021 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships took place June 20-25 in Grand Island with more than 590 people from 32 states, according to a news release from the University of Missouri Extension.
Teams competed in nine disciplines to demonstrate marksmanship, safety and team work, said Jim Sappington, University of Missouri Extension state 4-H shooting sports coordinator.
“It is such a privilege for me to be able to work with a group of talented, resilient young adults like these,” Sappington said via news release.
